The Andover 11th Scout group was formed in 2011. We're proud to be part of the Andover Scout District, and Hampshire Scout County. We're delighted to have a strong affiliation with our sponsoring body - St Michael's Church.
We have three thriving Sections at the Andover 11th - Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. More information on each can be found on the section pages linked from the top of this page.
The Andover 11th group is run entirely by volunteers who freely give their time. We always need more help. Any time you give will be warmly welcomed, even as simple as making tea, we welcome all.
Scouts are agents of change! They play a vital role in promoting gender equality, they are actively working towards a better world for all, are you?
Scouting's mission is to contribute to the education of young people through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law. Through Scouting, we are building a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
It takes a small village of volunteers to run the 11th Andover Scout group. Depending on your involvement you may only see some of our team, however there are plenty more behind the scenes to help ensure everything is running as smoothly and safely as possible.
Subs pay for the experiences that scouting provides. We have to pay for membership fees to the various scouting associations, hire fees, insurance, badges, neckers and resources for the activities we run. The subs are also used for heavy subsidies for trips out and camps. Subs are due on the 1st of every month. Since these payments are due every month, subs are also due each month including during the holidays. Further details on paying subs can be found by clicking the button below.
