Scouts

Throughout the year Scouts learn various skills, such as map reading, camp cooking and first aid. Rock climbing, potholing, gliding, photography and international experiences are just some of the things they get up to.

For Scouts, outdoor activities feature prominently, with the highlight being camping. Each Scout Troop consists of small units of six to eight Scouts called a Patrol, usually led by a Patrol Leader.

We meet on Monday Evenings at St Michael's Church Hall (The Hub).

Scout Badges & Uniform

Become an expert in something you love, or try something shiny and new. From athletics and astronomy to photography and pioneering, there’s badges for everyone. For more information about the Scout badges that can be achieved visit the UK Scout Association website - here

Where do my badges go?

Our uniform is very important to us. It shows that we are part of a world wide organisation. When a young person joins, they will be given their 11th Andover Scout Scarf and badges. We ask that you purchase the uniform for the Scout section. The section leader can help guide you if needed.

The Scout uniform you need (and lots more!) can be found at the Scout Store.
